How can I tell if you work in my price range?
If your home is valued at $300,000 or more, you have at least 700 square feet of space to finish, and you have a budget of $35 or more per foot to spend on your basement finish, then American Basement Company is an ideal choice for you.
At costs or space limitations below these, it is hard to deliver the level of quality, craftsmanship and design that would ensure your full enjoyment and return on investment in resale value.
There are always exceptions, however. So if you have questions we welcome your call. If we cannot help you directly, we may be able to refer you to a reliable source who can.
Do you do other remodeling or construction work beside finished basements?
Yes. In addition to finished basements We have designed and built 54 unique custom homes and 7 duplexes. So we understand and have experience with virtually every aspect of residential design and construction.
I want to do part of the work myself. Will you work with me? And do you charge a penalty for doing that?
We try to be as flexible as possible to accommodate homeowners who want—or need—to do part of the work themselves. There is no penalty for doing so.
Do you assess administrative fees or penalties for change orders?
No. If you request a change, your are charged only the direct materials and labor associated with the change. There are no special markups, fees or penalties of any kind.
